| And of course the night would not be complete without taking ridiculous pictures of ourselves... |

Our first love.
This past weekend, we got together and my oh my were we in HEAVEN! We talked about all of the european guys (okay, okay... and the gorgeous american ones we met too!) from our trip. However, who are we kidding, the main events of the night were centered around our first love: FOOD. We went to an authentic Italian place for dinner, authentic Belgian food for dessert and finished it off with delicious hazelnut hot chocolate for dessert (don't forget the Mozart bars! haha) and some European style shopping. The night would not be complete without a French film and laughing so hard we couldn't fall asleep. Ahhhh....it was almost as if I was back in Europe. Can we pleassseeeeee go back?! FOREVER!?

Sometimes I still can't believe that I have travelled so much and seen so many places, and made such wonderful lifelong friends. It seems like a dream. Especially now that a couple years have passed, and yet some moments seem like yesterday, the image is so vivid...like Leticia grabbing that guys bum to try to help him not fall on his face, or hanging from the trees after kissing the Blarney stone...(I wonder if all our crazy behavior was a side effect of that kiss...or maybe it is because we all tried those really really really really really sour apples.) Even sitting and doin nothing but dippin our toes in the river Aare and watching the sun set over Bern on our last night with Leticia, has been etched deep in my memory.
ReplyDeleteThinking of all of these experiences...the tastes, the sounds, the sights, is a reminder to me of hour precious every moment of our lives really is, and how the little things are what make our lives worth remembering. Many thanks to my wonderful traveling buddies for making my memories so sweet. And I mean SHWEEEET!!!!!!!!!
AMO-TE MENINA!!!
